Junior Producer (Contract) – Independent Feature Film

Location: Vancouver, BC / Hybrid
Contract Term: September 15, 2026 – December 15, 2026
Hours: Part-Time (Increasing during production)
Production Dates: Must be fully available October 25 – November 7, 2026

About Us

Evolo Productions is an independent film production company based in Vancouver, BC. We create ambitious, character-driven genre films and believe great filmmaking comes from passionate people working together.

We're seeking a Junior Producer to join our team for the production of our upcoming independent feature film. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of film production.

About the Role

As a Junior Producer, you'll work directly with the producers and core team to help keep the production moving forward. Because we're a small team, this role requires someone who is adaptable, organized, proactive, and excited to wear multiple hats. No two days will look exactly the same.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with production planning and logistics.

  • Help coordinate cast, crew, vendors, and production paperwork.

  • Support screenplay breakdowns, scheduling, and call sheets.

  • Assist with locations, transportation, and production supplies.

  • Support producers and department heads during pre-production and filming.

  • Help solve problems and pitch in wherever needed.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must be available full-time from October 25, 2026 through November 7, 2026, during principal photography.

Compensation

  • $22–28/hour depending on experience.

  • Backend profit participation opportunity.

  • Approved production expenses reimbursed.

  • Meals and craft services during production.

  • Screen credit.

  • Hands-on experience making an independent feature film.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.

  • Event planning or project coordination experience.

  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.

  • First Aid certification.

  • Previous film, theatre, or live event experience.

This role is ideal for emerging producers, production coordinators, assistant directors, or film school graduates looking to gain hands-on feature film experience.
